On 23 September 2025, the Vriddha Mitra Toolkit was officially launched at Sahaj: National Consultation on Ageing in Place in New Delhi. Rooted in the philosophy of ageing in place, the toolkit documents the programme’s journey from concept to implementation, bringing together evidence-based practices, community learnings, practical models, impact stories, and monitoring frameworks to strengthen community-based elder care systems across India.
